Software engineering studio
OpenHayEye is a small, senior engineering studio. We design, build and run web platforms, mobile apps and AI-assisted products for teams who need something shipped — not another deck.

Services
Six things, done properly. If your problem sits outside them, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
Full web products from blank repo to production — architecture, interface, database, deploys, and the unglamorous parts in between.
Assistants, document pipelines, retrieval and classification — built with evaluation and cost controls from day one, not bolted on after the demo.
The spreadsheet that runs your business, turned into something your team can actually use, audit and hand over.
Native Android and iOS apps, plus the APIs and data models behind them — shipped to the stores and maintained afterwards.
Deployment pipelines, monitoring, backups and cost review. Boring infrastructure is the point.
Architecture reviews, build-vs-buy calls, hiring input and second opinions for founders without a technical partner yet.
Process
Every engagement runs the same sequence. You can stop after any step and keep everything produced up to that point.
A paid week to map the problem, the constraints and the smallest thing worth building. Ends with a written plan, a fixed estimate and a decision you are free to take elsewhere.
A working slice of the real product — real data, real interface, deployed where you can click it. Assumptions get tested before they get expensive.
Weekly releases against an open backlog. You see progress in the product, not in a status report, and you can change direction between any two weeks.
Monitoring, fixes and improvements after launch — or a clean handover with documentation, if you would rather run it yourselves.
Work
Most projects that reach us look like one of these. Open any one to see the scope, the sequence and what you end up owning — or see what we’ve built.
Insights
Short, practical writing on the decisions that actually move a project — no thought leadership.
About
The name is the method: pull the one thread that matters out of the stack, then build around it.
OpenHayEye LLC is a software studio, not a body shop. The people you meet in the first call are the people who write the code. There is no bench, no handover to juniors after the contract is signed, and no layer of account management between you and the work.
We take a small number of projects at a time and stay close to them. That means we can say no to work we would do badly, and it means we can move quickly on the work we take — a decision made on Tuesday is usually in your hands by Friday.
Everything we build is yours: the repository, the cloud accounts, the documentation and the reasoning behind the important choices. If our engagement ends, your team should be able to pick it up without calling us.
