Three ways to settle
A built-in AI judge, a real sports final score, or the two of you simply agreeing. The AI is there for the loosely worded bets people always argue about.
Dollars that aren’t dollars
Stakes and totals are shown in dollars because that is how people talk about a bet. Nothing is deposited, nothing is paid out, and nobody owes anybody anything. It is a scoreboard.
Disputes, re-judged
Think the call was wrong? Open a dispute and the AI re-reads the entire chat thread — who claimed what, and when — then explains its reasoning in the thread.
Leaderboards and rivals
Follow people, climb the ranks, and keep a head-to-head record against everyone you play. A QR code adds someone standing next to you.
Sports, with the numbers
Live scores, match recaps, win probability and deep stats on the bets that involve real fixtures — so the argument has evidence attached.

The point of the app is that once a bet is live, neither person can move the goalposts.

Propose
Choose a game or write any claim at all, then put a stake on it. Send it to whoever is going to disagree.

Accept — and the stakes lock
The moment they accept, both stakes are held. Neither side can edit the terms or quietly withdraw.

The AI calls it
When the result is in, the terms are read against what actually happened and the bet is settled. Both records update.

Dispute it, if you must
Disagree with the call? Open a dispute. The AI re-reads the whole thread — every claim, in order — and posts its reasoning back into the chat.

Where a bet can be
Every bet sits in exactly one status. Transitions are atomic, so a dropped connection can never leave a stake in limbo.
PendingSent and waiting. Nothing is held yet — either side can still walk.
ActiveAccepted. Both stakes are held and the terms are frozen.
DeclinedTurned down before it started. Nothing held, nothing changes.
FinalCalled and settled. Both records update.
InconclusiveNobody could settle it — a postponed fixture, unanswerable terms. Stakes return in full.

The app shows dollars — is real money involved?
No. Dollars are simply how the score is kept, because that is how people talk about a bet. Nothing is deposited, nothing is withdrawn, nothing is paid out, and no one owes anyone anything at the end. Your running total is a number in an app, not a balance.
Does the AI settle every bet?
No — a bet is settled one of three ways: by the AI judge, by a real sports final score, or by the two of you agreeing between yourselves. When the AI does decide, the exact wording of the bet is read against what actually happened. That matters most for the loosely worded ones — the bets that would otherwise turn into a twenty-message argument about what somebody meant.
What if I think the call was wrong?
Open a dispute. The AI re-reads the entire chat thread — who claimed what, in what order, and what went uncontested at the time — then posts its reasoning back into the conversation so both of you can see how it got there.
What happens if a bet can’t be settled at all?
It is marked inconclusive and both stakes return in full. A postponed fixture, an ambiguous outcome, or terms that turn out to be unanswerable all land here. A bet nobody can settle is better cancelled than decided badly.
Does it only work for sports?
No. Real fixtures come with live scores, recaps and stats attached, but you can bet on any claim you can write down — and plenty of people use it entirely for arguments that have nothing to do with sport.
What do Plus and Pro add?
A higher monthly bet allowance, a stats dashboard with your win rate and head-to-head records, custom profile options, live in-game sports data, and no ads. Both are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through the App Store or Google Play, and you can cancel either in your store account settings. The core app is free.
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion is available in the app and removes your account and associated data. If you have trouble with it, write to mail@openhayeye.com and we’ll take care of it.

DollarBets Ai is entertainment between friends and is intended for people aged 18 and over. Stakes are displayed in dollars but no real money is wagered, held, transferred or paid out, and no outcome has monetary value. How it’s built
The hard part isn’t the betting
What looks like a social app is a small ledger with strong consistency requirements. That constraint drove nearly every decision in it.
A referee both sides accept
Every bet ends in a judgment call, and a judgment call between friends is exactly what software is bad at. The hard problems were the loosely worded bets, and knowing when the honest answer is that nobody can decide this.
A ledger that always balances
Stakes are committed the moment a bet goes live and released when it settles. No sequence of retries, dropped connections or simultaneous taps can create a stake, lose one, or leave one held against a bet that already ended.
Reads that stay cheap
A busy feed renders in a single round trip, and costs the same whether you have five friends or five hundred. Getting that right early is why the app still feels instant now that people have real histories.
Two native clients, one contract
Swift and SwiftUI on iOS, Kotlin and Compose on Android. Native on both sides rather than one cross-platform compromise — and the rules live in the backend, so the two apps can never disagree about who won.
Built to be handed over
Documented, conventional and readable. If we vanished tomorrow, a competent mobile engineer could pick this up and ship the next release without calling us.
The unglamorous half
Privacy policy, terms of service, community guidelines and a working account-deletion flow, all written and published before submission. Store review is a product requirement, not an afterthought.
