Delete your DollarBets account

You can delete your DollarBets account at any time, from inside the app or by email. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

   Open the DollarBets app.

   Go to Profile.

   Tap Delete Account.

This removes your account and associated data. If you no longer have the app installed, or would rather we handle it, email mail@openhayeye.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

What happens to your data

When you delete your account, we immediately remove your personal data — your email, username, display name, and profile avatar — along with your login credentials, and any pending bets are voided. During deletion you can also choose to erase the text of chat messages you’ve sent.

Records of bets you completed with other players are kept indefinitely in anonymized form — your name is shown as “Deleted user” — so those players keep an accurate record of their own game history. These records contain no personal identifiers.

Residual copies in encrypted backups are deleted within 90 days. Limited information may be retained longer only where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Download your data first

You can download a copy of your data at any time in the App, under Profile → Download My Data. Deletion cannot be undone, so it is worth doing this before you delete the account if you want a record of it.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not by itself cancel an active Plus or Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and are cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings. See Terms of Use, section 4.
